IRRAD-1: is an irradiation
zone at the CERN PS East hall,
where samples can be exposed to a 24
GeV/c proton beam (area ~ 2 x 2 cm2)
and reach fluencies of 1 - 3 x 1013 p/cm2 per hour.
fluence: ~5E10 p/cm2/spill or ~ 1.5E11p/spill.
The operation of this facility ended in 2012 (from 2014 see here)

CPS==> 14 or 18 cycles of 1.2 s.
1 EASTA or 1 EASTC = 2 cycles (2.4s.)
1 slow extraction = 400-500 ms
Minimum delay between two consecutives extraction = 2 s.
